Jennifer Farley is the writer, food photographer and stylist behind Savory Simple, a blog dedicated to well-tested recipes and tutorials for home cooks. Jennifer graduated from the Culinary Arts program at L’Academie de Cuisine in Gaithersburg, MD and has worked professionally as a line cook, pastry chef, and cooking instructor. She currently works as a full time recipe developer and food photographer in Bethesda, MD, where she occasionally teaches food photography classes and workshops.
Jennifer has previously written a weekly column for The Washington Post, and her work has been featured by The Kitchn, Bon Appetit, Food52, and Food & Wine. Her cookbook, The Gourmet Kitchen (amazon affiliate link), was published by Simon & Schuster in 2016.
